Psalms‬ ‭77:1-2‬ ‭NLT “‬‬I cry out to God; yes, I shout. Oh, that God would listen to me! When I was in deep trouble, I searched for the Lord.

2 All night long I prayed, with hands lifted toward heaven, but my soul was not comforted.”
‭‭
As we see here, the Psalmist prayed ALL NIGHT LONG when he was in trouble. He prayed all night long in desperation. How did he pray? He cried out, scripture says. Scripture also says he SHOUTED!

Some people are in a season to pray more in desperation and diligence rather than play with their phones all day long and ask others to pray for them. Can you even pray for one hour a day? At least 30 minutes with eyes closed, consistently? And we wonder why everything is falling apart.

I see a common denominator for those whose lives are falling apart or in trouble. They have stopped doing their basic spiritual duties, such as staying in prayer, reading, going to church faithfully, and obeying. Just because things got a little better, they found an opportunity to go play rather than keeping guard and alert. The Bible says to keep alert, which means to stay in prayer. The Bible says not to snooze off, which means to stay in unceasing, consistent praying.

It is as simple as that, people. Please do not act like prayer does not work when you do not even pray.
Please do not blame other people for your problems when you have left your position as a prayer warrior.

Do you not realize that you will need to stay in prayer, read, and go to church for the rest of your life?
