Proverbs 20:12 TPT “Lovers of God have been given eyes to see and ears to hear from God.“
Who are the lovers of God? How are eyes and ears given? In the Bible, it is written that we must constantly seek, knock, and ask. This means we must constantly study, read, hear, listen, watch, pray, ask for His Truth, obey, and live like Christ. Just like a student who must constantly go to class, study, research, and take tests to pass and reach a goal to become an expert in some field.
We must constantly and diligently pursue God to know Him. This means we must constantly reevaluate ourselves, pray, be crucified, study and understand spiritual authority, and seek His Will. Then, through redundancy, our eyes and ears are opened as we become disciplined in the area of His holiness. We are defined as lovers of God because we have shown life in the pursuit of Him through the Word as we put forth action of obedience through the power of the Holy Spirit in faith.
