Psalms 147:11 TPT “Yahweh shows favor to those who fear him, those who wait for his tender embrace.”
Fear of the Lord is showing the deepest respect. How is respect shown to God? It is how you conduct yourself in the church. It is how you conduct yourself in front of God’s order including spouses, elders, governments or civil authorities, and especially spiritual authority.
The Bible says there can be no authority except by God’s appointment. To resist and misbehave against the order of God’s creation/order is to resist God Himself and will bring judgment and a cursed life.
Romans 13:1-2 TPT “Every person must submit to and support the authorities over him. For there can be no authority in the universe except by God’s appointment, which means that every authority that exists has been instituted by God. So to resist authority is to resist the divine order of God, which results in severe consequences.”
