Galatians 2:20 NLT “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 5:24 TPT “Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus Christ have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah.”
Definition Crucified: put (someone) to death by nailing or binding them to a cross, especially as an ancient punishment.
Since we are not physically nailing anyone to the cross, we will go with definition number 2 in a spiritual and loving manner
2. INFORMAL, criticize (someone) severely and unrelentingly.
“Our fans would crucify us if we lost”
3. Torture, execute toward near death.
This is not automatic. It is taken care of in the spiritual realm, but we are to go through this process in the physical realm. If you still act fleshy and worldly, you are much alive in the flesh.
How are we to be crucified? A real person getting crucified does not have the option of getting offended or coming down the cross and quitting because they think it’s unfair or too painful. You must bite your tongue and be crucified without slandering, gossiping, getting angry, lusting, drinking, smoking, usurping, and the likes.
Therefore, you need to ask God this question: are you crucified in Christ? If you are crucified, then abundant life should be overwhelming you or progressing.
So, you need to keep asking for your blind spots to be revealed.
