Psalms 91:14-16 TPT “For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name, I will greatly protect you.
15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble.
16 I will deliver you and bring you honor. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”
If we are not enjoying the fullness of our salvation but living miserable, helpless lives still asking for help after many years of being a Christian, then we need to examine if we are loving Him, delighting in Him, and being loyal to His Name based on God’s definition or if we have created our own definition because the promise is there in verse 14, HE will Greatly Protect us. Perhaps our own definition is still the golden calf in our hearts.
