John 8:47 TPT “If you really knew God, you would listen, receive, and respond with faith to His words. But since you don’t listen and respond to what he says, it proves you don’t belong to him and you have no room for him in your hearts.”
The Bible has many commandments and instructions for God’s people. It filters the tares from wheat or goats from sheep. If we are God’s people, we will receive and respond. The religious will mock and make fun of the instructions or Word.
When we teach tithing and offering, those who are of God will receive and respond. When I was a Baptist, tithing was not properly taught, and I did not tithe. But when the truth was revealed, not only did I begin to tithe consistently, but I also began to keep Sundays holy. This is bearing fruit of repentance. Some people will look the other way or speak against what they do not want to receive and respond. You cannot pick and choose. Then, it will show you are not fully surrendered or have given your life over to the King. It will prove you are here to use God. Let us not end up using God.
Additional Comments:
If you have to choose between eating junk fast food or tithing because you do not have enough money, I hope you do not choose your belly. You should find another job to properly honor God and give Him tithes and offerings.
Some need to get any job just to offer to the Lord as gratitude. Do not think so highly of yourself and be unemployed forever.
“If God (through Pastor) is humiliating you…what did Deacon Jeremiah say?
Many of you still need to start over. Does God have to raise another speaker in five years to tell you what was spoken, that you need to start over not only through me for many years but now through Deacon Jeremiah?
Of course, this is not just about tithing; it can be obedience. You cannot choose to obey what you feel like.
You can not obey and then complain about it all week long. Then you are religious. You might as well not obey if you are just going to complain all week about it.
