Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.”

Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭2‬ NKJV‬‬ “He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.“

Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭33‬ ‭NKJV “‬‬The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility.”

The fear of the Lord can be viewed or defined as reverence, deep respect, and to tremble in actual fear before Him. The fear of the Lord is a check and balance for Christians. We must possess the fear of the Lord so that we may know there may be severe physical and eternal consequences to our decision and choices.

For example, you are not allowed to hold unforgiveness, resentment, offense, envy, jealousy, revenge, bitterness, regrets, or the likes against anyone (especially your Senior Pastors), or you will begin to work for the DEVIL as Satan begins to use that pathway to manipulate, plot, hate, and sabotage yourself or at the people you are so offended at. You may even begin to attempt to sabotage the ministry, especially if you hold leadership. Let me say, “attempt!” But fear of the Lord, which opens the path of wisdom, will knock senses into you, reminding you that if you choose to stay on a path of offense, not only do you jeopardize the physical blessings, but like Jonah, you will bring a curse endangering those around you including your children, wife, donkeys, and goats. Moreover, not only will you live a pitiful, miserable life, but you will look miserable as well, and then Hell may have its mouth wide open waiting.

I am not saying we have any such candidates in our church since we are all free and hold no offense against the Senior Pastor.
Of course, this is all just a hypothetical scenario. 🤗

Now let us sing kumbaya, my Lord.

Comment:

Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭27‬-‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who FEARS THE LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.”
