Jeremiah 17:5-10 TPT
“We Yahweh said to me: “Even a strong person is cursed when his confidence rests in his own strength. To place your confidence in the strength of man means that you are turning your heart away from me.
6 That person is like a desert tumbleweed in a dry and dusty desert, in a rocky wilderness without inhabitants. Even when goodness is all around him, he won’t experience it.
7 “I will bless with happiness the one who trusts in me, the one who trusts in me alone.
8 He is like a tree planted on the riverbank, extending its roots into streams of water. It does not fear when scorching heat comes, for its leaves remain fresh and never fade even in a year of drought. It has no anxieties but continues to bear luscious fruit.”
9 There is nothing more deceitful than the heart of man; who can understand it? Man’s heart is sick, in need of healing.
10 “I, Yahweh, probe the heart, and I thoroughly test the inner being to give to all people what they deserve according to their ways and based on their deeds.”

Proverbs 3:5-10 TPT
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart, rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.
6 Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.
7 Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.
8 Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.
9 Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring Him with your firstfruits, with every increase that comes to you.
10 Then every dimension of your life will overflow with blessings from an uncontainable source of inner joy!”

Is every dimension of your life overflowing with blessings and with inner joy?
Curses come at different levels. We can be blessed with health, but cursed and struggling in finances
Why? Because health has been given to God, while financial dependency may still be dependent on one’s own strength. If one is greedy, then trust has been forfeited with God, and greed has become their choice of strength
