1 Timothy 6:9 NLT – “But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.”
It is all about motive. Why do people want to be rich or have money? Their priorities are misplaced. The Bible says all tithes belong to God, and those who do not tithe and offer are thieves and robbers who will end up in poor houses. This is why so many Christians are bottom feeders running around as orphans, as thieves cannot be part of the tribe. God must be first, even with our money. Those who put God first will conquer finances, and money will not control them, but money will be their servant, and there will never be lacking.
