Proverbs 29:25 AMPC “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.”
The fear of man is not just physical but also fear of what others think of you, fear of how they perceive you, fear of judging you, and fear of criticizing you. Scripture says it brings a snare. What is a snare? A snare is a trap. One creates one’s own trap by fearing what others think about them.
But those who trust in God and fear what HE thinks will be safe and set on high at the top of the food chain.
