1 Corinthians 13:3 TPT “And if I were to be so generous as to give away everything I owned to feed the poor, and to offer my body to be burned as a martyr, without the pure motive of love, I would gain nothing of value.”
Who or what is the center of your life? Please do not just say “Jesus” out of default or as a reflex. If that were true, your life, marriage, kids, finances, health, mindset, etc, should be in an ideal position or place. Stop blaming people or the devil. You need to deeply think about this question and adjust. And for those who know Jesus is not the center, why are you not doing anything about it? As Jesus said to the Pharisees, you will die in your sins. This is a serious matter the Western church has become blind to.
