Galatians 3:11 TPT “It is obvious that no one achieves the righteousness of God by attempting to keep the law, for it is written: “The one who is in a right relationship with God will live by faith!””
I asked a question that all of you need to ask of yourselves: “Are you right with God?”
Many of you just presumed you were already right with God when you first stepped into this ministry, but thought you only needed a small tune-up when in truth, the tables in your heart had to be turned upside down, desperately needing a complete makeover. Others came, seeing an opportunity to advance their personal careers, taking advantage of a House already built for their personal agendas. But still, such people did not realize the problem was with themselves and their lack of faith and knowledge. People just presume they are right with God. Maybe you need to ask that question to the HS, especially when your life may be in turmoil.
Are we really living in faith, or are we working under the law, thinking we have faith? When we operate in faith, there will be revelation and power producing joy, peace, and love. When we operate in our own works under the law, we are taxed, tired, and miserable, living in a deceptive belief that at least one day we will make it to heaven, regardless of how life is lived.
People who have little faith or no faith will constantly worry about the end times, end of the world, getting robbed, thinking of survival, in self preservation mode, worried if the plane they are flying may crash, worried about their kids from being abducted, greedy and cheap out of fear, and etc. Their time and thoughts are consumed around “what if?”
Why? Because their self produced faith lacks trust in God! No one will be able to trust God when they are on their own path but yet many have a hard time surrendering their life to Jesus. The surrender for most Christians is just conceptual. Like a baby, the baby has only been conceived but not birthed.
What is to surrender and submit to Jesus? It is a life in which your surrender allows the Lord to live His Life through you. Just as parents try to live their dreams through their children by making them do and become the parents’ dream, but in our case, for the Lord, and HE leads us to life, whereas the parents’ may lead to misery. As we continue a life of surrender and submission, we are allowing Him to dispense His Life into and onto us.
Let us look at this word, “dispense.” Example of dispensing is a water container facilitating the supply of water. We do not drink water just once but constantly need to drink water.
Galatians 3:5 TPT “Let me ask you again: What does the lavish supply of the Holy Spirit in your life and the miracles of God’s tremendous power have to do with you keeping religious laws? The Holy Spirit is poured out upon us through the revelation and power of faith!”
The Holy Spirit can be described as water to help in our understanding. Here in Galatians 3:5, HE is described as a supply that needs to be poured. A water dispenser has a nozzle or button to dispense water. The catalyst for the Holy Spirit to be poured out in an overflowing manner is revelation and the power of faith. When you hear His messages of revelation from the altar (prophecy & Word), His appointed servants, and the messages on the Band, and when you receive and believe these revelations, putting them into practice, your faith will have power, and the Holy Spirit will come to overflow upon you! But as the Bible says, there are many spectators who come for entertainment. Which will you be?
