John 17:17 NLT “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.“
In other translations, the word “sanctify” is used instead of holy but they both have the same meaning and context.
Sanctify: set apart as or declare holy; consecrate.
We are set apart by being a people who know His Word. Unless you know the Bible and come to know Him, you may be declared a false Christian on Judgment Day when we had the opportunity to know the Word of God, but instead, we used and wasted that time watching or listening to nonsense.
If you say you are a Christian, then you must be a Christian and not a dropout or one who does not know the discipline.
