Hello Beloved Fire of God Church Family,

First, I want to say, ‘Thank you, my Lord, and thank you to our beloved Sr. Pastor Steve and Sr. Pastor Yoojin!’

Recently, we got a Tesla Model Y. Elder Joseph had wanted Tesla for many years now.
And our daughter, Jaehee, is also now able to buy the car she has been wanting, so she is looking for one.

We previously had two cars — a 2024 Lexus Hybrid Sport and a 2019 Honda Accord Turbo Sport.

Since the July revival, the Lord has been blessing our family in many ways.

It took many steps to get here, and I want to share that journey with you. Through our mistakes, I hope our Beloved church family can also learn and share in the blessings the Lord gives.

At the March revival this year, we were both working full-time and learning new jobs. We had just started our new positions, and by the time the revival began, it had only been about three weeks. Every year during revival, I had been involved in many areas of service, and this year should have been the same.

However, I was afraid to tell my boss. Since I was still in training and it had been such a short time since I started, it was hard to ask for time off. In the end, I managed to adjust my schedule to take only Thursday and Friday — the actual revival days — off. The Lord was not pleased with this choice. I put my boss above God, and I was afraid — afraid that if I took a full week off, I might lose my job.

Later, Beloved Sr Pastor Steve told us that if you had put God first and chosen His work, the Lord Himself would have taken full responsibility and made sure we lacked nothing. He told us to repent over this and deal with the issues in our hearts.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

So we began to repent immediately. I felt like I had given the Lord only crumbs — unable to take the whole week off, giving Him leftover time and not my whole heart. We prayed over pride and other issues and areas I lacked.

When it came time for the July revival, I told my boss I would be taking a full week off. At first, he said no, but I told him that if necessary, I was willing to resign. He laughed and allowed me to take the week off.

When Elder Jang told his boss, he too had no problem getting the full week off.

When the July revival began, from Monday to the following Monday, Elder Jang served by driving for Pastor Joseph’s family.

I handled setting up the hotel, food, midnight snacks for Pastor Joseph’s team of 20, lunches, Sunday dinner, and other hotel needs in between that needed delieveries.

Elder Jang drove all day and also took them to dinner.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday alone, we went to nine different restaurants to place orders and pay in advance (two of those restaurants we had to visit three or four times), and we had to coordinate all the pick-up times. We also went back and forth between Costco, Walmart, Target, Safeway, and three different Korean markets. We were so busy that it was hard to even grab a bite to eat, but instead of thinking about how tired we were, we just wanted to do our very best and prayed to serve in the way the Lord wanted.

In the middle of all that, we also took Pastor Joseph and his wife shopping at two locations, and we personally delivered 20 lunches with Elder Jang. Even if we went to bed late the night before, we would wake up early, get ready, place food orders on the way, and make sure everything arrived exactly at the time the team requested.

Because we had repented back in March and the Lord had shown us the issues in our hearts, we were able to do all this with joy and thanksgiving. The Lord gave us grace and willing hearts to serve.

After the revival ended, our bodies were truly tired. We went back to work, and that Thursday, it was Elder Jang’s turn to start morning prayer. Since I also attend morning prayer before going to work, we woke up at 5 a.m. to get ready. But after leaving first, Elder Jang came back upstairs and said, “The car is gone.” We were shocked — in front of the garage where the Honda Accord had been parked, there was nothing. We quickly took my car to open morning prayer.

We had bought the Honda Accord brand new six years ago, and it was fully paid off.

We texted beloved Sr Pastors, started morning prayer, handed the music over to beloved D Jr. and when he arrived we went home to report the theft to the police.

The following week, the police found the car. It smelled strongly of marijuana, and there were signs it had been dismantled in places. We wanted to declare it a total loss, but the insurance company said repairs must exceed 70% of the car’s value for that to happen. At first, it seemed like repairs would cost around $10,000, so they said it would probably be fixed. When we checked, the current market value for a 2019 Honda Accord was about $17,000. But a few days later, the insurance company told us that the repair cost was too high, so they would pay us $25,000 — the market value of the car.

This led to the Lord opening the way for us to buy a Tesla. Our daughter Jaehee was also able to buy a car. We even had an electric charging station installed in our garage.

There are more blessings than I can’t list all here. Some were things I had hoped for, but others were completely unexpected gifts from the Lord.

We can’t believe this is happening, and beloved Sr. Pastor Steve said…
“Because you tirelessly served during revival, God rewarded you with the desires of your heart.” 😭

I am so thankful to the Lord, and I am also deeply grateful for the discipline He gives us through our Beloved Sr Pastors.

Amen ♥️
