Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “The conquering ones will inherit these gifts from me. I will continue to be their God and they will continue being children for me.

8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the despicable, the murderers, the perverts, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all deceivers, they will find their place in the lake of fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

What we confess is what we are and what we are to become unless we are liars. What you declare you should be.

Attending and staying in church and not doing your part is like Joab, who, like others at the end, ran to the sacred tent (church altar), holding on to the horns of the altar, thinking he will not be killed in such a holy place. Going to church by itself will not save anyone. There is context and your calling. When Joab was slaughtered, not only did he die, but now all his children and descendants are cursed and will be in poverty and bottom feeders.

Holding onto the altar is like coming to church, sitting in the middle of the cross, crying and repenting like some holy person and only seeking to save your own skin. But your past has shown to be deception and wickedness. This will not save you.
‭‭
If you come from bottom-feeding, do not think you are all that, but repent and be grateful in this generation. You may be the one called to help save your families and your future generations. Or you can just continue to pretend, delude yourself, get offended, and/or play games.

What characteristics do we possess? Do we act like gold or dross?

Gold is malleable (yields , bendable, stretches, etc).
-It is great as a conductor of heat and energy (sustaining and carrying the Fire of God).
-It is of great value, and those who possess it want to save it (conquers, overcomers, victorious, faithful, pure, etc).

Dross – something regarded as worthless; rubbish.
-Very poor quality. Has no value. -Impure (cowardly, the faithless, the despicable, the murderers, the perverts, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all deceivers)
