Ephesians 6:11 AMP “Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.“
Our warfare with the devil is with his schemes, strategies, and deception. You need to be concerned about how you think. Why do you think in such a way? Are such thoughts from the devil or from the Holy Spirit?
How can we know if we are being schemed by the devil? You only need to look at your life and fruit.
If the fight is not against people, then you cannot blame people for your shortcomings and misery. You need to consider that you may be duped by the devil. It does not always have to be a big scheme, but small schemes to alter your thinking.
So what must we do? The Bible says to put on the full armor of God. What does that mean? Of course, at the basic level, you need to know the Bible. You need to be consistently praying. You need to be consistently attending. You need to be yourself consistently as you.
A soldier may have a sword and a helmet, but if you don’t have the armor, you are now handicapped and subject to danger. Therefore, you need to be completely equipped. Stop looking for shortcuts. Stop blaming other people. Look at your own actions. Be concerned about your walk with God.
