Revelation 3:19 AMP “Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]. [Prov 3:11, 12; Heb 5:8; 12:5-7]”
Sometimes you need to get rebuked and disciplined and shown your faults due to your old, stubborn ways. It proves God is tenderly and dearly loving you. Your old habits, addictions, and ways are not part of God’s Will.
