Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion, because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd.

37 He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in.

38 As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest his grain!”

When we read these scriptures with a mindset that has been influenced by worldly culture, we think we need to evangelize to the unbelievers who are not saved. But as we are learning, God is speaking about His own who are literally hopeless and without shepherds. The bottom feeders that are spiritually imprisoned with no hope. In fact, the command was first to go to the House of Israel and preach repentance.

The harvest is ripe with many bottom feeding hopeless Christians, the untouchables, who are out there wandering but with not enough harvesters to care for them. What kind of harvesters is Jesus speaking about? HE is speaking about those who can teach but teach and take care with His love from beginning to end. It is to ‭‭teach and take care of the unlovable, unkempt, untrained, not potty trained, drunk, druggies, trafficked in sin, unspeakable rejected christians who are wandering, weary, and lost. They are full of high ranking demons needing deliverance and care. But where are the harvesters who are willing to get their hands dirty for love of their Lord rather than a wage or blessing? Jesus is speaking of His Harvesters of Love and Mercy!

We need to stop looking at work or even working for the Lord as a burden just because it is not fun?

We were all rejects but we all come from different levels and someone had to pay a price to set the foundation for you or me to be here
