Hello Beloved Church
I am very proud of you all, as this incident has brought a stronger unity with our people, as many came and volunteered to clean and remedy this situation. I observed you all working hard as i watched on camera and then you had your BBQ as you shared each other’s food. Thank you to those who supported and sponsored the food and labor. Your work for the Lord will not go unnoticed by Him.
I think we are looking at $10,000 on the minimum and up to $20,000 on maximum and looking at the insurance policy, i do not think we are well covered for vandalism. This is felony level. Even when the storm destroyed the outside sign, they only reimbursed us for $1200. Most of the church insurance for rental property is for personal property and liability. It’s like renters insurance. Maybe we can claim the perpetrator abused me. I do feel abused. 😳
Let’s hope we can get this fixed before revival one way or the other.
Additional Comments:
“In Alameda County, California, vandalism is charged as a felony under California Penal Code Section 594 when the damage to property is $400 or more.
This threshold applies across California, including Alameda County. Felony vandalism can result in penalties including up to 3 years in state prison, fines up to $10,000 (or $50,000 if the damage exceeds $10,000), and restitution. The charge can also be a misdemeanor if the damage is less than $400 or based on other factors like criminal history or circumstances of the offense.”
I think we need to educate troublemakers that any damage $400 over is a felony, and over $10,000 is jail time and restitution required.
We have a pledge to pay for the damages. Thank you, God, for our people. We have wonderful people. Thank you to those who have pledged to restore the House of God and make it better!! 🔥🔥🔥
“May the Lord bless you mightily in all areas of your life, conquering every piece of land you touch!”
And for the perpetrator, our God is a God of justice. Unless you come to full repentance, may you come to know justice so you may fear the Lord, knowing He is not mocked.
