Psalms 91:1-3 TPT “When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.
2 He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.
3 He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation, and any dead curses”
The former post below is from Psalms 91. The prerequisite is to abide under the shadow of Almighty God. The other versions say that those who dwell or live under the shadow of almighty God.
Biblical definition of abide: “In a biblical context, “abide” means to remain, continue, dwell, or endure in a particular state or relationship, particularly with God or Christ. It signifies a deep, ongoing connection, faithfulness, and reliance on God’s grace.”
The keywords here are to remain and continue. Most Christians cannot obtain protection from God because they are part-timers or only looking for a one-night stand with God. Church is more an option and not a way of life. Reading the Bible is not considered important. Prayer is alien to most Christians.
Many professing Christians have not converted or transformed into a new creation, but are modified western secular unbelievers with a new title – reborn saved believers, but are really false believers.
In our modern-day society, modern-day Christians are like food labels. Today, refined sugar works like “modified corn starch” to fool and deceive the masses. But the consequences are the same for either refined sugar or “modified corn starch as they both spike insulin.
From AI – “Health Impact: Modified cornstarch is not inherently “healthier” than sugar; both are processed ingredients. Excessive consumption of either can contribute to weight gain or metabolic issues.”
Additional Comments:
People think they are eating healthy, but the physical result is the opposite.
People think they are believing and following God, but the result is the opposite.
Why is this occurring? It is because people are cheating intentionally or are being deceived.
Maybe today’s Christians are not real Christians but modified believers.
Let us not be like modified believers and have poor results, but be genuine and authentic.
What are poor results? One who claims to eat healthy but is obese, has hormonal imbalances, is diabetic, or is sick or near-sick. Metaphorically speaking, one can say they are believers and have faith, but life is a mess.
