After people are saved, what is the next step in their salvation? Is it to do nothing and be like a deer looking at oncoming headlights? How can people know what to obey when they refuse to know the Word (Bible) of God? How many Christians have actually read the whole Bible at least once in their lives?
In Western culture, people sign contracts without reading the terms. They just want to get into the new car or house as fast as possible. The Bible warns us not to imitate the cultures of the world. We must be a people who follow the instructions of the covenant written by the Blood of Jesus! We have a responsibility if we are the people of God.
Genesis 17:9 NLT “Then God said to Abraham, “Your responsibility is to obey the terms of the covenant. You and all your descendants have this continual responsibility.”
