John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
‭‭
There are two outcomes, as some are stuck in the middle, going back and forth. People think they just do nothing and are the victims of theft and destruction or the inheritors of an abundant life. These two realms are very real, and you will get by default depending on which side or realm you choose to be on.
The keyword here is “choose.” You must choose each day. How does one choose? You choose by doing the right thing each day.

Fighting with your spouse and name-calling like little children is not the right choice. Getting offended is not choosing right. Staying lazy is not choosing right. Eating food you should not is not choosing right. Not taking care of your responsibilities is not choosing right. Lusting is not choosing right. Drinking alcohol and smoking crack or the likes is not choosing right. Looking out for yourself only is not choosing right. Disobedience is not choosing right. Not coming to church is the wrong choice. Not praying or reading consistently is the wrong choice. Then what will happen?

If you choose wrong, then you are on the wrong side where the devil is there to steal, kill, and destroy you.

If you choose right, then you stand on the side of grace, and you will experience good things.

Therefore, choose to do the right thing. Do not vent and then say sorry. Do not get the last word out and think your “sorry” will count. It counts when you learn to be disciplined and not respond in kind.
