What is a simpleton?

Proverbs 1:32-33 TPT “Like an idiot (Simpleton), you’ve turned away from Me and chosen destruction instead. Your self-satisfied smugness will kill you.
33 But the one who always listens to Me will live undisturbed in a heavenly peace. Free from fear, confident and courageous, that one will rest unafraid and sheltered from the storms of life.”
Comment: If we always listen to God, there is a promise of living in undisturbed heavenly peace.
So, if you listen to God only sometimes when it fits your needs, you will experience fear and no rest in the storms.
So, discern how you obey and listen.
