Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬ Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?

4 How could you say to your friend, ‘Let me show you where you’re wrong,’ when you’re guilty of even more?

5 You’re being hypercritical and a hypocrite! First acknowledge and deal with your own ‘blind spots,’ and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend.“

Many of us cannot be raised to leadership until, as verse 5 says, you must first acknowledge and deal with your own issues that you are or are not aware of.

I want all the church to continue asking God to show you your blind spots and be willing to see your own guilt.

A person can only truly forgive and love others when you come to realize how much of a sinner you are as well and what Jesus did to save you! Otherwise, you are like an unborn person flapping like a fish out of water, always in survival mode and carnal in nature, jumping from one point to another due to anxiety, fear, and insecurity.

And the Bible says a carnal person cannot please God. If a person cannot please God, then the presumption is they have no or very little faith. Then how will such person be saved since faith is required?
