James (Jacob) 1:7-8 TPT “When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?“
Does this mean that people are mentally unstable because they are half-hearted, wavering, and ambivalent? They are mentally unstable because they are led back in and forth or in circles by the false voices. Because if we hear the true voice of God, we should be going in a straight line, moving forward, and not in circles or back and forth
Then what does halfhearted mean?
“Definitions of half-hearted: feeling or showing little interest or enthusiasm. Synonyms: halfhearted, lukewarm, tepid, unenthused, unenthusiastic. Not enthusiastic; lacking excitement or ardor.”
I think we can include the word lazy
