Jeremiah 1:10 CEV
and I am sending you with authority to speak to the nations for me. You will tell them of doom and destruction, and of rising and rebuilding again.”
Jeremiah 31:28 ERV
In the past I watched over Israel and Judah, but I watched for the time to pull them up. I tore them down. I destroyed them. I gave many troubles to them. But now I will watch over them to build them up and make them strong.” This message is from the LORD.
The only way for you to truly know God, experience Him, and have a true relationship with Him will be through hardship. Only through hardship, will people surrender to Him.
The main purpose of God’s given hardship is to pull up, tear down, and destroy the things that need to be out of yourself, and your life so that He can rebuild.
God wants to rebuild you & your life only through His way.
Until you fully surrender, your life will always be in the state of “construction” the process of pulling, tearing, and demolishing. Unless all your “old” is gone, God won’t rebuild, unless all your ideas are gone, He won’t rebuild new on top of old.
God has done such work in our family’s life for years and years. He even literally uprooted us from California and moved us to Michigan. God pulled, tore, and destroyed every single thing that we built in our life. Even our bad habits, personalities, lifestyles, and our old way of relationships with people were “demolished.”
But when God rebuilt it all, we became stronger, we became richer, we became closer(restoration of all relationships), we became healthier, and we became wiser in making decisions.
So don’t be scared of God’s uprooting work. It might feel scary and uncomfortable, but surrender and let God finish His work. The faster you surrender and obey, the faster you and your life will be rebuilt.
Trust God in all things He does and always remind yourself He is Good.
Jeremiah 29:11 Voice
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope-never forget that.”
