Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “The Lord had said to Abram, Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.”

In order for God to make us into a great nation, make us famous, and be a blessing onto others, you must be willing to leave everything and make God your number one. There is a season within our journey at the beginning in which you must no longer be influenced by your biological mom/dad, your career, your children’s future, finances, and your life but must be all surrendered to God. Abraham had to leave all he knew and go in faith to the unknown. He would have to absolutely trust in God. All God said to him was that he would be greatly blessed.

You need to realize his condition. It is not like today where there are gas stations, friendly cities, camel towing, camel Uber, grocery stores along the way, bottled water, IPHONE, internet, google map, air conditioning during the day and heater at night, electricity, low income housing, or EBT. He had to leave to a land where there was unfriendliness, wild animals, a desert, extreme heat, dangerous conditions, and the likes and he had to Trust God.

Today, you have all the conditions set for you to make it to the promise land. Your only part is by learning to trust God by not getting offended, fully submitting and obeying, reading, praying, tithing/offering, die to yourself, stop lying/cheating, run from sin, learn patience, and respect (honor) and listen to the senior authorities.

Is this too difficult? The old you must go, and a new you must be resurrected in Him. This all starts with a new mindset. And the first order is learning to obey as this was torn down at the garden of Eden.
