Genesis 25:27 NLT “As the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter. He was an outdoorsman, but Jacob had a quiet temperament, preferring to stay at home.”
In Esau’s days, they did not have internet, porn, bars, marijuana, TV,
clubs, social media, sleeping around, or other worldly fleshy affairs. But the strong men in those days liked to hunt and chase women.
Esau is born of Issac. He is considered God’s people, yet he is presumptuous in his behavior. Esau can be considered a Christian who easily sleeps around and does what many worldly people do, as he liked “going out,” which for him was to hunt. Whereas, Jacob stayed home learning from his father and showed a lack of interest in worldly things.
How can we know Esau, who can be considered a Christian today, is sleeping around and doing nonsense?
Because he married Canaanite women, who represented worldly, fleshy people, yet he also tried to do right by marrying the daughter of Ishmael. He can represent Christians today and even people in our church, a person who is presumptuous of his first birthright, tramples on that privilege, yet tries to do right on some things.

So the question is, why was it so easy to give up for a bowl of soup?
@Lord, my life is yours! So why did it appear so easy for Esau to give up his birthright? What may have been his thinking process?
Hint: Why is it so easy for people to lie, cheat, and not obey the pastors?
Why is it so easy for people to cheat on their diet and gorge themselves?
Why is it so easy for people to lie to pastors?

Why is it so easy for people to say “Amen” on the Band and not have thoroughly read it nor adhere to it?
Why is it so easy for some of our people to not read all the band posts but pick and choose what they want to read?
