Hello, beloved Fire of God church family 💗
We’ve entered the passion week.
We want you to consider fasting this week, except Sunday, and participating in Jesus’ suffering.
The type of fasting should be up to you, but you should do something hard. If it is easy, you aren’t really “suffering.”
“Give up something valuable to you. Jesus sacrificed for us; we should be able to “sacrifice” for a week by fasting, with something we cherish.
If you can’t give up just for a week (whatever that may be), please know that you have a problem.
Please dress up on Sunday; the whole church will offer a holy dance to God. Please wear bright colors. We will celebrate His resurrection 💗
We will do Holy Communion. So please prepare your spirit, soul, and body.
Please meditate on the scriptures below.
1 Corinthians 11:27-32 AMP
So then whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in a way that is unworthy [of Him] will be guilty of [profaning and sinning against] the body and blood of the Lord.
But a person must [prayerfully] examine himself [and his relationship to Christ], and only when he has done so should he eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not recognize the body [of Christ].
That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason why many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep [in death].
But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged.
But when we [fall short and] are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined [by undergoing His correction] so that we will not be condemned [to eternal punishment] along with the world.

Additional Comments:
Ezekiel 11:21 NLT “But as for those who long for vile images and detestable idols, I will repay them fully for their sins. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”
Even in Ezekiel’s days, people were watching “vile images.” In those days, they didnt have the word “porn.” But they did watch some vile images. So, no vile images this week or ever!
