â€â€2 Kings‬ â€3‬:â€11‬ â€AMP‬‬ “But Jehoshaphat said, ‘Is there no prophet of the Lord here from whom we may inquire of the Lord?” One of the servants of the king of Israel answered, “Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who used to pour water over Elijah’s hands.”
What did that mean? To pour water over his hand? Elisha is to take Elijah’s position with a double anointing. He was his right-hand man and servant. What does it take to receive double anointing from your predecessor? What price do you think u have to pay in terms of time and your life? What work? What type of service? Do you think he just sat around as an equal? Do you think Elisha was allowed to follow and walk around, offended at his mentor?
